Every great court begins with a vision.
Ours began with a community.
The Baseline Society was built from a simple idea: tennis should bring people together.
Founders Coach Jio and Adrienne first connected through their shared love for the sport. For Coach Jio, tennis has always been more than just a game — it has been both his passion and his profession. For years, he coached and played across various outdoor courts in the area, gradually building a loyal and growing community of players. Over time, many came to know Coach Jio not only for his coaching, but for the community he helped cultivate around the sport.
Yet one challenge remained constant. Most of the courts available were rented and outdoors, making games and training sessions dependent on the weather. It was this experience that inspired a long-standing dream for Coach Jio and Adrienne — to create their own indoor tennis court, a space where players could gather, train, and enjoy the game regardless of the conditions.
In July 2025, that dream began to take shape.
During the rainy season, continuous downpours caused outdoor sessions to be cancelled for days at a time. Determined to find a solution, Coach Jio began searching for a space that could potentially house an indoor court.
Eventually, he came across a warehouse inside a compound that was originally intended to be used as a food storage facility. While it appeared to be just an empty space, Coach Jio immediately saw its potential. With its high ceilings and open structure, the warehouse could become something more.
He saw a tennis court.
From that vision, The Baseline Society was born — an indoor tennis home built not only for the game, but for the community that surrounds it.
Today, The Baseline Society continues to grow as a place where players of all levels come together, friendships are formed, and families share a love for the sport.
Because at its heart, The Baseline Society was never just about tennis.
It is about community, camaraderie, and belonging.
More than a court. A society.
